And so goes new wave director Francois Truffaut's inspiration for his 1970 film "The Wild Child," which screens at UWM's Union Theatre, 2200 E. Kenwood Blvd., on the second floor of the Student Union, Friday-Sunday, April 3-5, at 7 p.m. All three screenings are free and open to the public.
The new DreamWorks animated film opens in theaters today. Early word has it that the movie is animated in a retro style, with an assist from the latest in 3-D technology. It's aimed at the under-12 demo, but adults should enjoy the voice work of Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd and others.
